It is simply amazing to me that people are of the opinion that ILLEGAL aliens are NOT being exploitedby those that hire them in this country. They are being exploited by the simple fact that being ILLEGAL means that they can be forced to accept lower wages. One very simple affect of this is depressing wages for LEGAL workers who work in similar fields.

Also - being ILLEGAL we don't know what type of work they are doing HERE. Are they doing legitimate jobs at low wages? Are they really doing the work that LEGAL RESIDENTS don't want? Or - are they by choice or by force doing CRIMINAL acts?

It cracks me up when I here people - like the Mayor of New York City - proclaim that the economy in New York would tank without illegal aliens. What a crock. Since when is it OK to exploit workers. The LEGAL free market would provide those services provided by ILLEGAL aliens.

So check this quote - 

    "Although they broke the law by illegally crossing our borders...our city's economy would be a shell of itself had they not, and it would collapse if they were deported."

Now link this with some interesting statistics from testimony given by Heather Mac Donald, Senior Fellow, Manhattan Institute for Policy Research, before the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration, Border Security.

    "A confidential California Department of Justice study reported in 1995 that 60 percent of the 20,000-strong 18th Street Gang in southern California is illegal; police officers say the proportion is actually much greater. The bloody gang collaborates with the Mexican Mafia, the dominant force in California prisons, on complex drug-distribution schemes, extortion, and drive-by assassinations. "

I would think that the relative concentration of ILLEGAL ALIEN Criminals in the Criminal element in New York is probably in the same ballpark.

So the Chief Enforcement Office of New York - The Mayor - is saying to KEEP the ILLEGAL aliens because of their ECONOMIC value to the city? Really? Uhmmmmm.

So it's OK to break the law by ILLEGALLY entering this country - "Hey they have families!" - but since they provide some economic VALUE - just leave them be? Really? Uhmmmmm.

I guess its really HARD to do your job - Mike.

This is blowing my mind. How do BOZOs like this get elected?

The Federal Government needs to step up to the plate and secure our borders and begin the process of finding ILLEGAL aliens and sending them back to heir home countries. It won't be easy - but first secure the borders.

Companies that hire ILLEGAL aliens should be FINED - big time.

Children of ILLEGAL aliens should NOT be given US Citizenship.

ILLEGAL Aliens need to be deported.
